It is vital in any advice session that a client understand how the process works and what everyone’s responsibilities are. These Terms and Conditions have been influenced by the International Coach Federation Code of Ethics – http://www.coachfederation.org/ethics/.
You (the participant) will be provided with advisory/mentoring sessions to be booked by you and at your discretion. These will occur in person, online via Zoom or similar app, or over the phone. During the sessions you will work toward business and/or creative and/or financial goals and get advice and help for your creative business.
You agree to attend each session with an open mind, a willingness to work and a clear agenda. It is expected that you will commit to any plans or actions discussed in your session and that you fully intend to carry them out. If you are unable to follow through as you intended, be prepared to talk about what got in the way, and how to best address that barrier so that it does not continue to interfere with your positive momentum.
After each session you will be sent an email with more resources, further advice, support for any ‘homework’ you have been given, and anything else relevant to helping you achieve your goals. You may also email for more information outside of ADVICE times (within reason) and make time for phone mentoring. Please email first to book a time. Extensive work outside of session times, including extended phone calls, will incur an additional cost. Immediate and desperate advice is not usually appropriate, nor possible.
You are expected to complete in full any ADVICE program you sign up for. There is no limitation to the number of sessions you may have, although Creative Plus Business reserves the right to refuse further sessions.
Each session will be used to work through pre-arranged business and/or creative and/or financial goals chosen by the participant.
Participants must understand that you are responsible for creating your own decisions and results. You agree not to hold Creative Plus Business liable for any outcomes resulting directly or indirectly from the advisory process.
Fees and Payment Procedures
Fees for ADVICE sessions are as follows:
- CHAT – $180 + GST per hour (AUD)
- STANDARD GROW – $960 + GST per 6 x 1 hour sessions held at intervals (AUD)
- PLAN – $1600 + GST for full day (AUD)
- MINI-PLAN – $900 + GST for full day (AUD)

All fees are to be paid prior to each session via invoice or PayPal. Please note that your tax invoice may be a tax deduction against your business income; please check first with the Australian Taxation Office or your accountant.
Cancellations and Lateness
Cancelled or missed sessions occasionally occur in any on-going advisory relationship. If you need to cancel or change the time of an ADVICE session please give at least 24 hours notice. If you do not give at least 24 hours notice you will be charged for a full one hour session unless an emergency situation applies.
With advance notice of more than 24 hours you will not be charged and we will make every effort to reschedule with you.
If Creative Plus Business needs to reschedule a session with you because of illness, travel, or emergency we will do so as soon as possible. You will be given 24 hours notice unless it is an emergency.
Each session lasts for one hour from the time scheduled to begin. If you are late the session will still finish exactly one hour after the start time. There are no exceptions.
Taking Breaks and Termination
If you require a break from ADVICE sessions please let us know as soon as possible. Ideally we would like to find out the reasons behind the break and whether or not you are satisfied with your experience.
All coaching/mentoring relationships must end at some point. Either party may end the ADVICE sessions at any time with one week written, email or verbal notice. There is no obligation to continue although you are most welcome to return for further advice in the future.
All GROW sessions must be completed within nine (9) months of the start date. All PLAN sessions must be completed on a single day. Any time not used during these times will not be carried forward and are essentially forfeited.
As part of your ADVICE program you will be asked to share openly and honestly, although this is of course at your discretion, and Creative Plus Business agrees to honour and protect your privacy and the confidentiality of any communications and personal information shared with any of the advisors who work for and represent Creative Plus Business.
Creative Plus Business agrees to protect the confidentiality of all our clients. To the maximum extent allowable by law, no identifying information about you or your work with us will be released without your express permission. Your personal information will not be shared with any person or organisation including your employer or clients without your written permission.
Creative Plus Business will maintain your client file for up to twelve months after the completion of your ADVICE program. After that it will be destroyed unless you grant us permission in writing to keep the file for longer.
All advisors and mentors who work for and with Creative Plus Business must abide by these confidentiality parameters.
Definition and Limits of Advice
The Creative Plus Business ADVICE sessions are designed to help you learn new skills, strategies and tools in order to make significant and sustainable changes to your creative business. We are not lawyers, accountants, financial advisors or tax agents, we are only qualified to give advice about your overall creative business. Please seek help from our Groovy Accountants or our Funky Lawyers if you seek specific legal or financial advice.
It is our assumption that you are a healthy, well-functioning individual who wants to take action and make changes in the service of your goals for life, creativity, business and work. The Creative Plus Business advisors are not counsellours and will not be able to provide assistance for any personal or mental health issues you may have.
Should your needs go beyond what our ADVICE provides, or the areas of our expertise, we will do whatever we can to help you find useful resources for addressing these needs.
Nondisclosure and Intellectual Property:
Creative Plus Business, including any employees or sub-contractors, is subject to confidentiality and may not use your intellectual property in any way without your express written permission. We will not voluntarily communicate your future plans, business strategy, customer information, or financial information to any other third party unless compelled by law.
In addition, to protect the intellectual property of Creative Plus Business, you agree not to disperse or reuse the materials given to you during your ADVICE sessions or accessed via the Creative Plus Business website unless they have been released on a Creative Commons License or you have written permission from Creative Plus Business and/or the written permission of the source of that intellectual property.
This agreement is bound by the laws of NSW, Australia, regardless of the home state, territory or country of the Participant.
